Shenzhen Mingde Experimental School Interior Wayfinding and Cultural Signage Project

The Shenzhen Mingde Experimental School project is an integrated interior wayfinding and cultural signage system, designed to combine functional navigation with visual storytelling and spatial aesthetics. In this project, we were responsible for the fabrication and production of a range of interior signage elements, including directional signage, information display panels, and custom-designed feature signage with sculptural forms.

The signage system incorporates a variety of materials such as aluminum panels, acrylic layers, and carved or laminated graphic elements. Some feature signage adopts multi-layer construction and 3D contour cutting, creating depth and visual interest while maintaining clarity of information. The structures are engineered with internal support frames to ensure stability and long-term durability.

Surface graphics are produced using high-resolution UV printing, engraving, or laminated films, ensuring precise text, icons, and map information with long-lasting color performance. The design emphasizes a balance between readability and artistic expression, making the signage not only functional but also part of the campus interior environment.

All fabrication processes, including CNC cutting, precision engraving, panel forming, and assembly, were completed in-house to ensure strict quality control. The final system provides clear navigation, enhances user experience, and contributes to a cohesive and visually engaging educational space.
